How Fleet & Volume Pricing Works

Transparent thinking about cost drivers — not a fake rate card. Call for a quote built around your vehicles and service mix.

We Publish Principles — Not Fake Numbers

Search results are full of invented “fleet rates” and made-up dollar amounts. Greenville Automotive Solutions will not do that. Fleet / volume pricing here means your effective cost reflects how often you use the shop, how many units you bring, and how predictable the work mix is — discussed when you call for a quote.

What Drives Fleet Repair Cost

  • Labor hours & complexity — diagnosis depth, diesel vs. gas, electrical intermittents vs. straightforward PM.
  • Parts selection — OEM, quality aftermarket, or customer-supplied (when appropriate); warranty implications matter.
  • Vehicle type — Transit/Sprinter cargo vans, medium-duty box trucks, and light diesels have different parts and bay needs than a passenger car.
  • Urgency — priority scheduling during business hours vs. flexible PM windows.
  • Condition & history — neglected units cost more than fleets on a preventive cadence.
  • Compliance work — DOT prep and inspection-related repairs can add required items you cannot skip.

How Volume Pricing Typically Works (Conceptually)

  1. You open or request a fleet account and share approximate unit count + monthly service mix.
  2. We quote jobs with account context — repeat PM and multi-unit batches are priced differently than one-off strangers.
  3. You approve estimates before major work; history stays with each unit for smarter future quotes.
  4. Optional pickup & delivery may be layered when logistics saves you more than the handling cost.

What to Ask Any Fleet Shop (Including Us)

  • Is the quote parts + labor broken out?
  • Are you recommending OEM or aftermarket — and why?
  • What is included in a “fleet inspection” or PM visit?
  • How do you handle approval if additional work is found?
  • Will we get per-vehicle notes for our maintenance file?
  • What are actual shop hours for priority work? (Ours: Mon–Thu 8–5, Fri 8–12.)

Ways to Lower Total Cost Without Cutting Corners

  • Move from reactive breakdowns to a preventive maintenance cadence.
  • Batch similar services to reduce logistics and intake overhead.
  • Fix small issues (belts, leaks, soft brakes) before they cascade.
  • Keep tire/alignment and brake wear on a schedule — especially for delivery vans and tow vehicles.

Consumer Financing Note

For individual / consumer-style repairs, Affirm and Sunbit may be available. That is separate from commercial fleet account billing. Ask which path fits your situation.

FAQs

Can you email a public fleet rate card?

We quote based on vehicles and work — a static public rate card would either be misleading or outdated. Call (252) 904-1768 with your list.

Do you guarantee the lowest price in Pitt County?

No. We compete on diagnosis quality, communication, and total cost of uptime — not race-to-bottom coupons.

Are estimates free?

Discuss your situation by phone first. Diagnostic time on complex issues may be billable once the vehicle is in the bay — we explain that up front.

Does volume pricing require a huge fleet?

No. Many local operators run a handful of vans or trucks. Call and describe your mix — we will be honest about whether an account structure helps.
